| The purpose of this study is to analyse respresentations of sport in Kamratposten (a magazine for children) in the latter part of the 20th century. Equestrian sports and football is the most common sport presented to the readers and these sports are both gendered and connected to age. Equestrian sports are connected to girls and femininity, whereas football is foremost connected to boys, men and masculinity. | |
