English abstract
In this chapter I discuss the environmental issues regarding the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014 from an ethical point of view. I connect the ethical discussions to the central ideas of the Olympic ideology and philosophy, and argues that the Sochi Games confirms and even strengthen the Olympic ideology.

I mitt kapitel diskuterar jag miljöfrågor i anslutning till de olympiska spelen i Sotji 2014 ur ett etiskt perspektiv. Jag knyter an de etiska diskussionerna till de centrala idéer i den olympiska ideologin och filosofin, och argumenterar för att spelen i Sotji bekräftar och till och med förstärker den olympiska ideologin.
