The purpose of this research is to investigate young peoples motives to sport participation and the consequences, regarding anxiety and athletic burnout, based on the perceived motivational climate. In addition, the aim is also to investigate if / how this is changing over time and whether there are differences between students at elementary sports school and the students who attend regular elementary schools.
