The treatment is not bound to a hospital and therefore normally preformed by the patient at home. The exchanges of dialysis fluid takes place several times throughout the day with a number of hours between the exchanges. The aim was to investigate peritonealdialysis effects on the patient's sleep. The method chosen was a literature study with materials from scientific databases. The Results of ten articles were selected and processed. During the process, four broad themes came up.
